Head chef Gopal, with his decades of experience in various countries and numerous 5 Star hotels and restaurants has not only offered his expertise and knowledge. He has divulged some of his secret recipes, carefully formulated over the years in his various Chef's Specials dishes. The central location and the focus on the authenticity of the exotic Indian food has kept the New India Restaurant an absolute favourite among the locals as well as the Adelaide Indian community. Besides participating in community activities such as supporting the UniLife in UniSA, and wining various awards, HeadChef Gopal has been responsible for training young chefs in TAFE to continue on his traditional recipes. However, we are sure that he keeps some of his special recipes such as those of the Malai Tikka, Kadhai Paneer & numerous more close to his heart only available to his patrons.
