Recently re-opened, enjoy a slice of the Mediterranean in Melbourne at Squisito in Canterbury, a venue with its heart in the hills of Italy and its head in the city. A modern design sets the scene for casual dining, with a menu that follows suit. If you find yourself at Squisito with a large gathering, opt for a two or three course group dining set menu, allowing choice from a selection of tantalising Mediterranean style fare. Regular nibbles and noshing on Squisito’s main menu ranges from the likes of hand made arancini filled with mushroom and peas, to freshly made veal involtini filled with pork and aromatic herbs, served with kale, pearl onion and baby carrots. Completing the experience are dessert options like Spanish crema catalana brulee with amaretto biscuit and fresh strawberry.
