Newlands Primary School After School Program

As part of the Victorian Government’s Vision for Languages Education all primary schools are required to have language programs in place from 2015. Consistent with this policy, Newlands Primary School will be introducing a Spanish language program from the beginning of next year. The Newlands Program, however, will go beyond the minimum standards required by the Government. From 2015 student in Prep (Foundation) will participate in a bilingual Spanish program. Current students at the school will have traditionally weekly or biweekly Spanish language classes.
