Waratah Montessori Preschool

At Waratah Montessori Preschool we offer a preschool program for 3 to 5 year old children based on the Montessori philosophy of education for up to 29 children a day. 

We offer extended hours and a choice of days for the benefit of working parents with a minimum of 2 days attendance a week.  The centre is open 49 weeks of the year and children can attend either for preschool hours from 9.00am to 3.00pm or for extended hours from 8.00am to 4.00pm. 

All eligible parents are able to access the Child Care Benefit from the Family Assistance Office as we are approved as a "long day care centre".

Children bring their own lunch and fruit for morning tea, whilst afternoon tea is provided for children staying for extended hours.

The preschool is located on the extensive grounds of a local public school in a custom built building with a beautiful shaded outdoor area.  It is a small, privately owned centre with a  stable and committed staff including a Korean member on 3 days per week.
