The Speciality Coffee Association of America (SCAA) has created standards to differentiate speciality coffee from the rest. Coffee’s, which score 80 points or above on a 100-point scale in the SCAA score sheet, is graded as "speciality". This produce is known for its special and ideal climates and soils, also because of their rigourous and quality controlled processing and selection, which results in a zero to non defect range.
