Under the modern nurses award, overtime applies if required to work a double shift, *Nurses can relieve in emergency situations, unexpected leave of permanent staff, introduction of new equipment/systems, or when permanent employees are on training courses/seminars.

Through Australian Nursing Federation we offer continuing professional education on line courses in line with requirements for nursing registration. We encourage our nurses to undertake other courses such as asthma management, advance life support plus many more, to expand on their industry knowledge.
