St Teresa Aged Care Facility

St Teresa Aged Care Facility is a high care facility that gives priority of access to people of Polish background. Culturally sensitive staff are employed to meet the needs of the residents. Traditional Polish and special cultural and religious events are celebrated and connections with wider Polish community are maintained.

The home has 14 single rooms and 16 double rooms. Some rooms have ensuites while others are located close to bathroom facilities. Single rooms are allocated on basis of need. For example, a physical condition or serious illness that requires special assistance such as lifting equipment.

A hairdresser visits fortnightly by appointment. Charges are reasonable and residents are billed for this service.

St Teresa is a smoke free facility. Smoking is only permitted in the outdoor areas.
