Padman Health Care commenced aged care services in SA in 1984. The group is now the state's largest private operator of Commonwealth funded aged care facilities. At Padman Health Care we understand that concern for quality of life and peace of mind are key elements when selecting a residential care facility. Sandringham is located just seven kilometres from Gawler and the entrance to the Clare Valley. A fully accredited service, Padman offers a range of living options, starting with independent living units at our Karra Court site located at Elizabeth West (and soon to be released, a range of two bedroom units at Craigmore).

Our Adams Road site also provides 120 licensed aged care beds comprising 94 low care (ageing in place) and 26 high care. A specialised secure unit, Rose Court provides excellent services including respite care to residents who require a secure environment. Low care respite is available on request and bookings are essential. All low care accommodation is provided in single rooms that are well appointed and have excellent outlooks onto our garden areas.

Professional and caring staff are available 24 hours a day to all residents. Padman provides its own bus service to all groups of residents. These services include shopping, banking, general sight seeing trips and picnics to surrounding wine country.

All meals are cooked by our experienced catering staff, offering a wide range of quality home style meals and catering for special functions. Padman charges all fees within the guidelines set out by the Commonwealth Department of Health & Ageing.
