UnitingCare Abrina Nursing Home

Located in Ashfield, Abrina is a 63 bed Chinese specific nursing home. Abrina is one of only eight facilities in NSW to be awarded a “Merit” in the 2003 round of Accreditation surveys by the Aged Care Accreditation Standards Agency.

Abrina has a culturally appropriate recreational activities program and all staff speak Mandarin or Cantonese.

Built in 2000, residents enjoy large modern rooms with an Asian touch to the interior and exterior garden.

Abrina nursing home also has a fully equipped Asian kitchen to prepare Asian meals for our residents.

Sensory Garden, Aromatherapy for Dementia residents, celebrate cultural days such as Chinese new year and the Full Moon festival. Abrina has an active Music Therapy program in which residents are encouraged to participate.
