St John’s is a home in the leafy suburb of Toowong in Brisbane’s inner west reserved for elderly men. The home caters for men with dementia and special care groups such as homeless men and those with mental health or complex health issues. St John’s is conveniently situated on a public transport route.

The home is spread over two levels connected by lifts. There are spacious kitchens dedicated living and dining areas with a centrally-located canteen and local shopping service. The large central communal area is ideal for indoor games and activities.
A number of health professionals regularly visit St John’s including a physiotherapist podiatrist dentist audiologist speech therapist and dietician. There’s an onsite hairdresser available by appointment.Maintaining the leisure and lifestyle interests of residents is all part of the program. We take a collaborative approach inviting feedback and discussions on what types of activities you might like included.
The community benefits from having an onsite laundry and full commercial kitchen providing freshly prepared meals served in the home’s dining rooms catering for special dietary needs and meals to mark special occasions or cultural events.
